The King's Band
list price: $275 | Discount: 0% | Views: 354
In this painting, a tribe gathers together in celebration of the Ashanti King to honor their great ruler. As music is a large part of African culture, it is present in most occasions, as well as momentous celebrations. Beautiful beats - from gong gong beaters to talking drums - send messages of positive vibrations, uniting and inspiring the people of the palace. While the colors of this painting remain simple, they hold a special meaning; those that are closest to the King wear red, while those adorned in gold are to keep their distance.
