We scour the world to find you one amazing painting from the far corners of the earth. We only deliver a single one to you each day so that you can give it the attention it deserves.
Each painting in your inbox comes from a little known artist in Africa, South America or Asia. Each painting is also accompanied with a story of the artist who produced it & some little known facts about the country where the painting originated. This allows you to learn unique aspects about other cultures via art.
Each artist listed on Art Sumo comes from a region of the earth with low internet connectivity. Prior to Art Sumo, the only way to find art from such artists was to physically travel to their countries.
We allow both you and our artists to get great deals. We source our art from locations of the world where the cost of living is very different from the first world. This allows us to offer you prices on original art work which you cannot find locally.
Each painting artist listed on Art Sumo is wonderfully talented but struggling to make ends meet. We support all our artists by proving them international exposure while providing them with a print revenue steam. Specifically we purchase all our original paintings 25% above market rates and split all print 50/50 with our artists.
